3 objects have been commissioned in Mangystau within the frame of national teleconference
The Day of Industrialization has been celebrating in Kazakhstan. Today, President Nursultan Nazarbayev launched dozens of new high-tech industries during a nationwide teleconference. Kazakhstani specialists will start working and produce domestic products at these plants and factories.
Kazakhstan has experienced the global reforms and large-scale transformations over the 26 years of Independence. The planned economy was replaced by a market model.

Today, within the framework of the National TV bridge, with the participation of the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Mangystau region, the II stage of the Ferry Complex in the village of Kuryk of the Karakiya district has been launched.
The project cost is 97.7 billion tenge. The capacity of the project is up to 7 million tons of cargo per year. Transportation of export and transit cargoes through the port of Kuryk is supposed on the Trans-Caspian corridor to the world markets.
Vice President for Infrastructure Projects of National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Bauyrzhan Urynbasarov informed the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev about the project:
"Dear Nursultan Abishevich! Port Kuryk is a key link of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor. In 2017, we provided transshipment of over 1 million 200 thousand tons of cargo. The new automobile ferry complex is an additional 2 million tons of cargo annually. Today we are launching new routes to Turkey and the countries of Europe, " - said Bauyrzhan Urynbasarov.
The next broadcast in the Mangystau region was from the Shetpe-Aktau road. The cost of the road reconstruction project is 92,956 million tenge. Creation of transport and logistics centers and development of Kazakhstan's border zone with Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the countries of the Caspian Sea zone will contribute to the development of the region's economy and traffic growth in the Beineu-Aktau section.
"The section of the Aktau-Shetpe highway is a part of the international transit corridor "Astrakhan - Atyrau - Aktau - the border of Turkmenistan." This is the shortest route connecting Russia and Eastern Europe with the countries of Central Asia. The volume of freight traffic is 3 million tons per year and it increases the throughput capacity of Aktau and Kuryk seaports," - Mereke Pshembaev, Chairman of the Committee of Roads of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reported to the Head of State.
The next connection was with the plant for the production of joint-welding pipes ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Aktau JSC. The cost of the project with the participation of foreign capital is KZT6.8 bn. The plant for the enlarged assembly of oil and gas pipes in the 24-meter sections was built specifically for the Future Expansion / Wellhead Pressure Control Project (FGP / WPMP) of Tengizchevroil.
"Dear, Elbasy! Our plant is a unique technologically rich industrial complex in the entire Caspian region. Production capacity is up to 15 thousand tons of welding joints per year. Nursultan Abishevich, thank you for the policy of import substitution and for the fact that Kazakhstan enterprises receive invaluable experience of participation in international projects! ", - Magomed Ibrahimov, General Director of Arcelormittal Tubular Products Aktau JSC thanked President of Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Head of State gave a command to launch and talked with the collectives of enterprises.
Since the beginning of 2017 in the Mangystau region, 3 projects have been commissioned for a total of 1 billion 847 million tenge with the creation of 195 new jobs.
